Harry Edward Styles was born 1st February 1994. Styles is from the village of Holmes Chapel which is located in Cheshire, England. Harry went to Holmes Chapel Comprehension School. Before taking part in The X Factor, Harry had a part-time job at the W. Mandeville Bakery in his home town Holmes Chapel.In Harry’s early years he loved singing Elvis Presley songs. Harry says that Presley was a massive influence for him. He also says Coldplay and King's Of Leon are among his other influences.
Harry was the lead singer for a band called White Eskimo. They once entered a ‘Battle of The Bands’ competition which they went on to win. Styles stated that The X Factor had gave him "a lot more" confidence in his performing skills and he looks to Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin for inspiration while he is performing on stage.
Harry has taken on the role as the lead singer of the band. I think Harry has got the best voice out of the 1D boys and he appears to be many fans favourite member of One Direction.
