Liam Payne

Liam James Payne was born (1993-08-29)29th August 1993. Payne is from Wolver Hampton, West Midlands, England. He was a music technology student at City Of Wolver Hampton College in his hometown. In his time as a student, Liam was very enthusiastic about sports, he was also bullied when he attended secondary school and decided to take up boxing lessons at the age of twelve.

Liam had once performed in front of a 26,000 crowd at a Wolver Hampton Wanderers football match. Liam had first auditioned in 2008 to The X Factor's 5th series when he was only fourteen. He done well in the first audition and boot camp, he even made it to the judges' houses, but Simon Cowell didn’t think Payne was ready for this type of competition just yet and asked Liam if he would come back in two years’ time. Liam’s mentions Justin Timberlake as one of his greatest influences and also states that he takes his inspiration from Take That front man Gary Barlow while he is performing with the other 1D boys.
